Brawl at Jaipur airport parking lot triggers chaos

Jaipur: Two groups of cab drivers clashed at the parking area of Jaipur International Airport Friday following a dispute over vehicle parking, triggering chaos for nearly half an hour.

Airport sources said drivers associated with app-based cab services got into an argument that quickly escalated into a physical altercation at the airport parking lot.

A video of the incident, now circulating on social media, shows bystanders moving away as the clash intensified.

Airport security personnel rushed to the spot after receiving alerts and intervened to separate the groups. The situation was eventually brought under control after sustained security intervention.

Airport sources said the matter was contained promptly, adding, “The airport administration has previously engaged with cab aggregators to ensure their drivers maintain civil and orderly conduct. Jaipur Airport has also remained in constant coordination with police to ensure a safe landside environment for all stakeholders.”
