Bitcoin fraud: Woman among two held

JAIPUR: The Special Operations Group (SOG) arrested two persons, including a woman from Jaipur, for Bitcoin trading fraud. The complainant had registered a case against the two accused on February 5 following which an investigation was initiated.
The arrested were identified as 32-year-old Manoj Patel and 22-year-old Avika Mishra.
Anil Paliwal, ADG, SOG & ATS said, “The two accused had opened a website claiming that they were Bitcoin traders.They would ask people to invest in their company and the promised the investors a profit of 1% per day. They also held seminars to motivate people for investing.”
