The election to the Rajasthan high court Bar Association, Jaipur will be held on Friday. Chief election officer Ashok Bansal said polling for various positions would be held from 9 am to 5 pm.

JAIPUR: The election to the Rajasthan High Court Bar Association, Jaipur will be held on Friday. Chief election officer Ashok Bansal said polling for various positions would be held from 9 am to 5 pm.
Bansal said five candidates are in the fray for the post of president. They are Praveen Balbada, Udai Pradeep Gaur, Manish Kumawat, Nayana Saraf and Ram Manohar Sharma.

The three candidates vying for the post of vice-president are Bhupendra Pareek, Shefali Sharma and Sanjay Verma. The five candidates in the fray for the post of general secretary are Satish Kumar Khandal, Takt Singh Rathore, Vigyan Shah, Prahlad Sharma and Sanjiv Kumar Singhal. The three candidates contesting for the post of joint secretary are Tapesh Agarwal, Sushil Pujari and Anurag Shukla.
Ajay Singh Jhwala and Neetu Dave are contesting for the post of treasurer. Two candidates in the fray for the post of library secretary are Manoj Bharadwaj and Satyapal Chandeliya while 27 candidates are vying for the eight post of executive committee members.
Deputy election officer Dinesh Pathak said it is mandatory to carry any of the photo identity cards to participate in the elections. eom
