Jaipur: Sudden weather changes across northern India disrupted flight operations Thursday evening, leading to multiple diversions to Jaipur airport, officials said.
Adverse conditions, including a dust storm in Jaipur during the afternoon, also affected incoming flights. Several aircraft were rerouted due to poor weather in Delhi and Dehradun.

Air India flight (AI 1898) was diverted to Jaipur, while an Air India Express flight (IX 1527) from Bengaluru to Dehradun and an
IndiGo flight (6E 6226) from Delhi to Dehradun were also redirected to Jaipur.
IndiGo issued a travel advisory on X, stating, “Due to bad weather conditions in Delhi and Dehradun, flight operations may be impacted. We understand that extended wait times, both on the ground and onboard, may cause inconvenience, and we sincerely appreciate your patience.”
Meanwhile, an Air India Express Pune-Jaipur flight (IX 2458) was diverted to Lucknow due to poor weather conditions in Jaipur, further highlighting the widespread impact on flight operations.
