Jaisalmer: Regardless of the tension in the relations of India and Pakistan, the jawans of Border Security Force (BSF) were seen soaked in the Holi celebrations here at Indo-Pak border on Thursday. The BSF headquarters had sent colours and sweets for the BSF jawans keeping in view that they hail from different parts of the country and away from their families.
Besides, a feast was also organized for the jawans.
According to sources, BSF officials kept their celebrated ranks aside and drenched themselves in the Holi revelry. The officials applied gulal on the faces of jawans. Head constable Sami, who hails from West Bengal, said that he enjoyed playing Holi at the Indo-Pak border.
"Holi is celebrated at a grand scale at my village in Haryana, but here I had much more fun than the village," said jawan Jagdish Singh.
