JAIPUR: The anti-corruption bureau on Friday raided Jaipurdiscom's superintending engineer (SE) Surendra Prasad Sharma Sarda'sDungari-situated factory. The agency seized documents from the factory which manufactures cemented electricity poles and is spread over 5,000 square yards. Officials said that an FIR for amassing wealth disproportionate to income will be registered against the engineer after assessment of all his properties.
A day after the agency seized a huge amount of cash and unearthed assets worth crores of rupees from the engineer's house in Adarsh Nagar, officials said that assessment of his properties will continue till Monday.

"An FIR will be registered against Sharma after the assessment is complete. We will then send a report to the Jaipur Vidyut Vitaran Nigam also," said an ACB officer.
The factory in Sarda Dungari was supplying electricity poles to the electricity department.
Jaipur Vidyut Vitaran Nigam's chairman and managing director (CMD) Kunji Lal Meena told TOI that a departmental enquiry and subsequent action against Sharma will be initiated after the ACB sends the report of his wealth to the department.
An ACB team on Thursday seized Rs 42.70 lakh in cash from Sharma's house. Apart from the factory in Sarda Dungari, a farm house spread over 1,000sq yards in Achrol, a plot measuring 300sq yards in Kalwar, a house in Mansarovar's Sector-10, jewellery worth Rs 40 lakh and expensive interior items worth Rs 30 lakh are also among the items recovered during the raid.

The raid at Sharma's house was conducted following arrest of an upper divisional clerk, Ramkishore Sharma, who was deputed in the Bani Park-situated office of Jaipur Vidyut Vitaran Nigam. The clerk was caught taking a bribe of Rs 10,000 from a Non-Resident Indian (NRI). An ACB officer said that during investigation, it came up that the clerk was accepting the bribe on behalf of superintending engineer Surendra Prasad Sharma.
