Annual meet on neurosurgery in Jaipur from December 13

JAIPUR: More than 1,200 delegates along with 20 neurosurgeons from America will gather in the city for three days, from December 13, to take part in the 67th annual conference of Neurological Society of India. Latest instruments, three-dimensional utility during surgery and most importantly, the advances in robotic surgery in the field of

neurosurgery

, will be at the centre of discussion.


Dr Hemant Bhartiya, director of Neurosurgery and head of Neurosurgery department at a private hospital and organizing secretary of NSICON 2018, said that there would be a pre-conference workshop on December 12 with American surgeons, where the most recent advances and techniques in the field of neurosciences would be discussed and delegates will have the opportunity to interact with the speakers. There are more than 425 scientific papers during the conference.

Manabi Bandyopadhyay, principal of Krishnagar Women’s College and first transgender person in India who has completed Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) has been invited as the guest of honour. She is India’s first transgender college principal.
