Amit Kalla gets selected for the Chinese international artists exchange residency programme
Jaipur based artist Amit Kalla has been selected for the Chinese international artists exchange residency programme. Kalla, a talented abstract painter and poet, has been chosen as one of the distinguished participants in the 6th Tao Hua Tan Autumn Chinese International Artists Exchange Residency Program. This prestigious program will take place in Anhui Province, China, offering an exceptional opportunity for the artist to immerse himself in both the traditional and contemporary realms of cross-cultural notions through his artistic endeavours.
Amit Kalla will be collaborating with artists not only from China but also from various corners of the globe. His mission during this artistic sojourn is to create a minimum of three artworks that will become permanent fixtures in the World Art Museum at The Peach Blossom. This residency promises to be a transformative experience for Kalla, enabling him to explore novel artistic perspectives, interact with fellow artists hailing from diverse cultural backgrounds, and create profound and meaningful artworks during the residency's duration. Throughout the program, Kalla will get an opportunity to embark on a creative journey to develop a new series of abstract ideas. These pieces will seamlessly blend innovative visual concepts with a newfound energy, expressed through the interplay of forms and elements. Additionally, he will encapsulate poetic themes, illustrating the process of their creative evolution and encapsulating the profound beauty of the journey itself. This artistic tour provides a platform for Amit to conceptualize an array of expressions, transitioning from form to formless, ultimately constructing a kaleidoscopic panorama of artistic perception.
