airport under Vigyan Nagar police station of Kota city. Angry family members and relatives of the deceased boy created ruckus and blocked Kota – Jhalawar road demanding action against private electricity company. Police have lodged a case for causing death by negligence against unidentified person.

“Rohit Nepali, a resident of slum area in front of Kota airport was electrocuted after he came in contact with a live electric wire in front of Kota airport near Mistri Market,” ASI at Vigyan Nagar police station Sugan Kumar said. The deceased boy, while playing with his friends came in contact with the live wire on the roadside and died on the spot, he added.

“The body was later handed over to the family members after post-mortem and a case of causing death by negligence against unidentified person was lodged under section 304 (A) in the matter,” the ASI said. Further investigation into the matter is underway, he added.
