Eight dead in bus-van collision in Jaipur

Eight persons were killed on NH-11 in Churu after the van in which they were travelling, collided with a bus head-on on Thursday morning. The bus driver was allegedly trying to overtake another vehicle and due to low visibility owing to fog, hit the van, killing all its passengers on the spot.

JAIPUR: Eight persons were killed on NH-11 in Churu after the van in which they were travelling, collided with a bus head-on on Thursday morning. The bus driver was allegedly trying to overtake another vehicle and due to low visibility owing to fog, hit the van, killing all its passengers on the spot.
The deceased were identified as: Ankit Kumar (25), Safiq Khan (25), Ansar Khan (23), Asif Hasan (23), Ramzan Khan (22), Sadiq Khan (26), Mohit Singh (23) and Akram Khan (21).

All the victims were natives of Bikaner. The accident occurred in Ratangarh’s Rajal Desar police station area in Churu district around 8.30am.
