6 of a gang arrested for trying to loot ATM

Jaipur: The Jaipur police on Saturday arrested six members of a gang that tried to loot an ATM in Bassi area. SHO Bassi police station Yashwant Singh said that the accused on Saturday early morning had tried to cut an ATM in Bassi’s Jatwara area to loot money. The ATM had over Rs 8 lakh when the accused tried to break it. They fled when their attempts were foiled after an alarm went off. The bank officials then alerted the Bassi police station which arrested the accused identified as Vishnu Kushwaha, Vinod Choudhary, Vindo Kushwaha, Giriraj, Mukesh Singh, and Shubham Kumar.
