34 IPS officers transferred in major reshuffle

JAIPUR: In yet another rejig, the Rajasthan government on late on Thursday night transferred 34

IPS

officers. It is the second

transfer

list of IPS officers within a week as earlier 75 officers were transferred.


Alok Kumar Vashishtha, inspector general of police, Bharatpur range, would be the new commissioner of

Jodhpur

, while Ashok Kumar Rathore, his predecessor, has been asked to take over as inspector general of police, SOG, Rajasthan. Rathore has replaced the firebrand police officer Dinesh MN who was instrumental in busting rackets during his ACB stint and had inspected the Anandpal Singh encounter case at Malasar. Dinesh will now take charge as inspector general of police,

Tejashwini Gautam, the SP, ACB is been asked to take charge as DCP, headquarters, Jaipur police commissionerate.
