3 jewellers arrested for nexus with wanted thief

Jaipur: Chitrakoot police Tuesday arrested three jewellers for their alleged involvement with a notorious burglar.
Police in their statement has identified the three jewellers as Khemraj Saini, a resident of Jai Singh pura khor, Deepak Soni a resident of Kanota, and Dinesh Jain from Johari Bazar.
Police alleged that all three accused purchased stolen jewellery from burglar Shabana Kinnar.Police said that Shabana had staged over 30 burglaries and thefts in the city alone. He sold stolen items to different persons including the three jewellers.
“We are examining to see how many times they had purchased stolen items from the accused,” said an official.
