2 HC lawyers appointed as AAG

Jaipur: Two senior advocates of Rajasthan High Court Nasir Ali Naqvi and Rajendra Soni were appointed as additional advocate general (AAG) by the state government on Tuesday. Both would be given a retainership of Rs 1 lakh per month. During his tenure he would look after criminal, civil and government matters assigned to him. The legal affairs department issued the orders in this regard on Tuesday. ‘Open permanent Bench of revenue board in city: The District Advocates Bar Association, Jaipur on Tuesday given a memorandum demanding opening of a permanent Bench of revenue board in Jaipur to the district collector and division commissioner, Jaipur. “They should open a permanent bench in Jaipur else the lawyers community will start an agitation to pursue their demand,” said Gajraj Singh Rajawat, general secretary of association. tnn
