2-day festival on 30th anniv of JKK begins today

Jaipur: Jawahar Kala Kendra is all set to host a three-day foundation day function starting from Saturday. On April 8, JKK is completing 30-years of its establishment. “The foundation day of Jawahar Kala Kendra is special for every artiste. We are organising a festival to mark the occasion in which regional artistes of every genre are being provided a platform,” said Gayatri Rathore, principal secretary of arts and culture and JKK director general. JKK was designed and built by the late architect from MIT, Charles Correa, in 1986. The construction was completed in 1991. tnn
