JAIPUR: Two schoolchildren died and nine others were injured when their schoolbus overturned in the city on Wednesday. In another incident, 25 schoolkids in Jhunjhunu were hurt, seven of them seriously, when their driver lost control.
On Wednesday afternoon, a bus of St Susan���s Academy left the school with around 50 students. The vehicle was allegedly being driven by its conductor.
After dropping 25 children, the bus tried to overtake a truck near Goner Road.
The driver managed to cross the truck but suddenly lost control, causing the bus to overturn.
Two students ��� Imran (15) and Rashid (14) ��� died on the spot. Imran was a student of Class VIII and Rashid was studying in Class VII. The injured students were rushed to SMS Hospital, from where they were discharged after being administered first-aid.
