Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel were crushed to death when a huge boulder hit their vehicle at Basar-Akajan road, five kilometres away from Likabali, the headquarters of Lower Siang district on Friday, police said. The incident occurred at around 2.30 pm when a big boulder rolled down from a mountain slope and smashed the ITBP minibus with 20 personnel on board. The bus had been on its way to

Four personnel died on the spot while eight others were injured, Lower Siang SP Singjatla Singpho informed. Two persons, who were seriously injured, have been shifted to
Army Hospital
at Likabali while the personnel with minor injuries were treated at the community health centre, the SP said.
