NSCN-KYA militant arrested in Arunachal Pradesh

ITANAGAR: An overground worker of Myanmar-based proscribed outfit NSCN-KYA was arrested in Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh on Wednesday, police said.
Identified as 25-year-old Pelei Khangnyakam, he was caught in Sumsipathar village, SP Rahul Gupta said. Acting on a tip-off, a team of Arunachal Police and Assam Rifles raided the village and nabbed the man.

Andhra Pradesh: Police arrest six in murder case of 54-year-old woman at Kuppam
Six individuals have been arrested in connection with the murder of a 54-year-old woman in Kuppam, Andhra Pradesh. The main accused, Poornachand, and his father borrowed money from the victim's husband and recently repaid it. Poornachand, who was addicted to alcohol, plotted the murder along with his friends. On October 17th, they attacked the woman at her house, choked her to death, stole her jewelry and cash, and fled the scene. The police formed special teams to investigate the case and made the arrests near a government hospital in Kuppam.
