Man found dead in petrol pump, drug overdose suspected

ITANAGAR: Police Thursday recovered the body of a 25-year-old man, who died due to suspected drug overdose, from a restroom in a petrol pump near here.

The incident occurred a day after he was discharged from Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences after a two-week de-addiction course, SP ( Capital) Rohit Rajbir Singh said.

The matter came to light when the restroom was found locked from inside and none responded to calls made from outside. The authorities then informed the police. After breaking the door open, the police found the body with signs of rigour mortis, Singh said.

12-year-old girl found dead, electrocution suspected

A 12-year-old girl named Soumya was discovered dead under suspicious circumstances in Shahjehanabad, Bhopal. Initial findings suggest she may have been electrocuted due to ongoing construction work at her residence. The exact cause of death will be determined following the post-mortem report.
