In 2019, Longding Pumao legislative assembly constituency had total 11683 electors. Total number of valid vote was 10534. Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Tanpho Wangnaw won and became MLA from this seat. He secured total 4463 votes.
National People's Party candidate Thangwang Wangham stood second with total 3768 votes. He lost by 695 votes.
In 2009, Longding Pumao legislative assembly constituency had total 9754 electors. Total number of valid vote was 8941. Indian National Congress candidate Thangwang Wangham won and became MLA from this seat. He secured total 4763 votes.
People's Party Of Arunachal candidate Tanpho Wangnaw stood second with total 4178 votes. He lost by 585 votes.
