Hayuliang Assembly Election Result 2024: BJP's Dasanglu Pul wins unopposed

NEW DELHI: BJP candidate, Dasanglu Pul, won unopposed from the Hayuliang seat in Arunachal Pradesh unopposed.

Hayuliang is an Assembly constituency situated in Arunachal Pradesh, positioned within the North East region of India and specifically in the East region of Arunachal Pradesh.

This constituency comprises the district of Anjaw. The polling in this constituency happened on April 19.

This constituency shares an inter-state border with China, Myanmar.

In the previous 2019 election, Dasanglu Pul emerged victorious with 6,149 votes, representing 55.25% of the total votes polled. The runner-up was Lupalum Kri from the Indian National Congress (INC) who received 4,817 votes, constituting 43.28% of the votes. In 2014 Kalikho Pul from the Indian National Congress (INC) emerged as the winner with 7,272 votes. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate, Banim Kri, secured the position of runner-up with 1,502 votes.
