‘Bomto Kamdak Medal of Hope’ announced in Arunachal

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Police have announced the institution of the ‘Bomto Kamdak Medal of Hope’ under the auspices of Police Ajin initiative.“In recognition of the extraordinary service and supreme sacrifice of Arunachal Ratna DySP Bomto Kamdak, the capital unit of the Arunachal Pradesh Police proudly announces the institution of the ‘Bomto Kamdak Medal of Hope’,” capital SP Rohit Rajbir Singh said late on Tuesday.Kamdak, born in 1985 in Leparada district’s Kamdak village, was a paragon of courage. He joined the police department in 2011 and quickly distinguished himself. On August 13, 2016, he made the supreme sacrifice.

Gurugram police commissioner Vikas Kumar Arora awarded President's police medal; 12 other officers receive police medals

On Independence Day 2024, 13 Haryana Police officers and personnel were honored with President's Police Medals for their distinguished and meritorious services. Vikas Kumar Arora, Police Commissioner of Gurugram, received the President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service. Additionally, 12 other officers were awarded Police Medals for Meritorious Service, including Deepak Saharan and Kamal Deep Goyal.
