Arunachal guv: Hope pious occasion inspires right conduct in all

Itanagar: Arunachal governor K T Parnaik has said the pious occasion of Janmashtami will inspire right conduct among all and help people achieve their goals in life.
“Janmashtami is among the most significant occasions, symbolising the human effort to eradicate injustice and oppression. It celebrates the life and teachings of Lord Krishna, offering the timeless message of ‘performing one’s duty without attachment to the outcome’ to all,” the governor said in a message.
The governor said the occasion also reminds people of Lord Krishna’s teachings in the Bhagavad Gita, where the value of sacrifice for righteousness is honoured.
“May the occasion of Janmashtami inspire all to imbibe Lord Krishna’s message of love, compassion and pluralism,” Parnaik additionally wrote.
Janmashtami celebrates the birthday of Lord Krishna. Considered the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu, Krishna was born to Devaki and Vasudev to end the tyranny of king Kansa of Mathura.
