Khandu launches ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign

Itanagar: Arunachal CM Pema Khandu on Tuesday emphasised on the significance of Mahatma Gandhi’s mantra of three types of cleanliness — of the mind, body and the surroundings.Marking the beginning of ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ 2024, Khandu took part in a walkathon from Dera Natung Government College ground to the D K Convention Center near I G Park, reports Joken Ete.

10th edition of Seva Setu launched

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the tenth edition of 'Seva Setu' in Gandhinagar. The initiative runs until October 31 and aims to assist beneficiaries of various government schemes across all districts. Each taluka will host three programmes, while municipal corporations and municipalities will hold two events each, offering on-the-spot assistance.

Gramin Seva vehicles on electric path to revival

The Delhi government is set to revive the Gramin Seva auto service by introducing guidelines for converting them to electric vehicles. The transport department is actively considering proposals addressing permit issues and potential incentives for electric Gramin Seva vehicles, which are essential for last-mile connectivity in rural areas.

BJP to celebrate PMs birthday with seva pakhwada

The state BJP will celebrate Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 74th birthday with a service fortnight beginning Tuesday. Activities include health camps, blood donation drives, cleanliness programs, and seminars. The NDA government has announced infrastructure projects worth Rs 15 lakh crore and several schemes to benefit farmers economically.
