Arunachal CM, governor pay tributes

Itanagar: While governor KT Parnaik led the celebrations of Kargil Vijay Diwas in Arunachal Pradesh, at the Raj Bhavan, here on Friday, CM Pema Khandu paid tribute to martyrs saying, “As we commemorate the 25th Kargil Vijay Diwas, our hearts swell with pride and thankfulness for the brave soldiers who laid down their lives protecting the borders of our beloved nation.Parnaik expressed hope that their heroic deeds will continue to inspire youths.“The victory showcased superior and advanced training programmes within the armed forces,” he said. tnn
