INDORE: With the arrest of a cloth trader and his five accomplices, Sadar Bazar police busted the murder of a youth here on Tuesday.
The cloth trader identified as Dinesh Sharma, who owns a shop at Rajwada, had allegedly contracted the killing of the 19-year-old youth Chotu alias Yasir Karim, who worked at his shop. Dinesh suspected him of having ill intentions towards his female relatives.
The incident came to fore when Dinesh Sharma reached Sadar Bazaar police station along with his wife Rakhi Sharma and Chotu’s mother Sultana to register a missing person complaint.

“One of the officers at the police station identified Dinesh and asked him whether he had been involved in some crimes at Sarafa police station. Dinesh denied the same and excused himself from the police station and fled the scene,” said Mahendra Singh Bhadoriya, Sadar Bazaar police station in-charge adding that after this incident the cops smelled something fishy and started questioning the people involved with Dinesh.
Sultana and Rakhi were questioned in the matter when Rakhi claimed that Chotu had two friends named Pawan and Aakash. Both of them were questioned for several hours by the police and they revealed that they had been given the contract of killing Chotu.
“Dinesh had offered the youths Rs 5 lakh to eliminate Chotu because he suspected him of having ill intentions towards his wife and other females who visited the shop,” said Bhadoriya.
Aakash and Pawan revealed that they called Chotu from a STD booth near Pandarinath temple and asked him to come at CP Shekhar Nagar. “All of them sat together and drank alcohol. When Chotu had consumed enough alcohol, the accused took him to the nearby nullah and slit his throat. They separated the torso from the head and buried both the parts in the mud under a boulder,” said Bhadoriya adding that after they received information, the body of the victim was recovered from the nullah and handed over to the family members after post mortem examination.
“A case under section 302 (murder) was registered against six accused including Aakash, Chintu Mangrole, Pawan Rajput, Rahul Panwar, Ravi Tayade and Dinesh Sharma and they were arrested,” said Bhadoriya.
