Youth found hanging from electric pole

INDORE: An unidentified 29-year-old youth was found hanging from a road-side electricity pole on MR-11, which was spotted by local residents on Sunday afternoon. A team from Lasudia police station, reached the spot and brought the body down. The body was later sent for post-mortem at MY Hospital.
According to Lasudia police, the incident was reported near Vindya Vasini Mata Temple on MR-11.The deceased appeared to be a daily-waged laboure. Efforts by the police to ascertain the deceased youth’s identity, however, did not deliver results. The matter was registered at Lasudia police station under Section 174 of CrPc.
Mother, daughter suffer severe burns while cooking: A 20-year-old girl sustained severe burns in an attempt to save her 40-year-old mother who caught fire while cooking in kitchen on early Sunday morning. Caught in flames, the duo screamed for help after which neighbours came to rescue them. The duo was rushed to a district hospital for treatment. Soon after, the information reached Chandan Nagar police station, statement of the duo was recorded.
According to Chandan Nagar police, the incident occurred around 6.30 am near Aisha Mosque Gali of the area when Shabana Khan was cooking. Incidentally, her stove had caught fire.
