They were placed under home isolation in Indore by district health authorities.

"Both the passengers will continue to remain in home isolation for the next 14 days," district nodal officer for Covid-19, Dr Amit Malakar said.

"We have launched tracing of other passengers. After identification, each one of them will also be put under home isolation,” Malakar added.

He said the health department will also keep a close watch on both the passengers and provide medical assistance accordingly.

This comes a day after the Indore district administration made a negative report of Covid-19 compulsory for people coming to Indore on flights from Maharashtra.

The health department had collected samples of as many as 57 of the passengers who came in the flight while others had submitted a negative

RT-PCR

report upon their arrival.
