Indore: Four persons, including two minors, were arrested for allegedly an attempt to murder that occurred in the early hours of April 4.
The incident took place around 1 am in Anil Nagar area. A man, Parminder, was outside his house when four to five persons arrived on two-wheelers. Following a pre-planned recce, the attackers allegedly stabbed him in the stomach and leg with an intent to kill.
Parminder was rushed to Aurobindo Hospital in critical condition. He identified one of the attackers as Vansh alias Chiku .
A team led by Vijay Nagar police station in-charge Chandrakant Patel used CCTV footage and an informant network to track the suspects.
The accused, 19-year-old Vansh and 18-year-old Vijay Songara, both residents of Ambika Nagar and two minors had fled the scene. Police cornered Vansh and Vijay as they allegedly attempted to flee toward Barwaha. During the chase, the duo were injured after falling.
"We have found the evidence related to the crime and are continuing our investigation to determine if more individuals were involved" Patel said.
