Indore: Two persons were killed and over a dozen were injured after a vehicle they were travelling in collided head-on with a pick-up vehicle transporting grapes and overturned in Dhar on Thursday. The accident occurred on Dhamnod-Mandav road in Talawada village at around 3:45 am. Dhar SP Aditya Pratap Singh said that 22 pilgrims of Amravati in Maharashtra were on their way back after visiting Pawagarh temple in Gujarat when they met with the accident.
The impact was such that the driver of the pick-up vehicle was stuck inside it for a long time. Locals said that the accident took place in front of government high school and pick-up vehicle was smashed into two parts one of which was found at some distance from the other half. Rakesh and Sunil Bansilal died on the spot. Injured Tetyajam Singh, Budhram, Rakesh, Kaluram, Sakaram, Indu, Premlal, Anil, Santosh, Nitesh and four-year-old Govind were rushed to hospital TNN
