Indore: A technical snag at Dewas Naka square tracker valve disrupted water distribution from several major overhead tanks in the city on Tuesday morning.“The glitch impacted water distribution from overhead tanks at Scheme No 114 Part-1, Scheme No 78, Scheme No 78 Slice1 & 2, Rajiv Awas Vihar, Loha Mandi, Scheme No 113 and Scheme No 136. The corporation deployed extra water tankers to maintain an alternate supply line in the affected neighbourhoods,” IMC commissioner Kshitij Singhal told TOI.He along with additional commissioner Ashish Pathak and other senior officials, inspected the site to oversee repair works.Officials said that a technical fault caused by severe storm on Monday night had led to pump shutdowns in Maheshwar. As a result, several municipal water tanks could not be filled to their maximum capacities.
