Techie dies, dad injured in accident
Ujjain: A software engineer died in a road accident on MR-2 Road on Tuesday morning. His father was seriously injured. The father was going to drop him at the bus stand for Indore when this accident occurred. A dog suddenly came in front of their scooter, and while trying to avoid it, their vehicle lost balance. A car coming from behind hit Jai Srivastava, 30 years old, and his father, Vijay Kailash, 58 years old. Jai died while being taken to the hospital, and his father is undergoing treatment at a private hospital with serious injuries.According to Nanakheda police station in-charge Narendra Yadav, the duo, residents of Rishinagar, were riding a scooter on the MR-2 route going to Nanakheda bus stand. Both became victims of the accident just a short distance from the bus stand. When the dog came in front, their unbalanced vehicle was hit by a car coming from behind, causing both to be thrown far away. This caused a serious head injury to Jai, and he died after being taken to the hospital.The deceased youth was working in an IT company in Indore and used to travel daily between Ujjain and Indore. Jai was the only child in the family. Police registered a case and, after conducting a post-mortem exam of the youth at the district hospital, handed over the body to family members in the afternoon. The youth's funeral procession was taken out from his Rishinagar residence in the afternoon. His last rites were performed at Chakratirth.
