The committee on the vision for the “Haat of India” has been constituted by the department of rural development under the chairmanship of additional chief secretary of state, Aruna Sharma.

INDORE: The committee on the vision for the “Haat of India” has been constituted by the department of rural development under the chairmanship of additional chief secretary of state, Aruna Sharma.
The idea was to crystallize the state’s vision for a growth and investment future.
The vision reflects people’s aspirations, the full potentials of growth and development and lay out the efforts needed to fulfil this vision.

Tremendous efforts have undergone in outlining the needs assessment and people’s aspirations by producing many notes and papers which have now become the basis of this vision.
We also benefited from other innumerable sources covering many investment summit literature, trade promotion exhibitions many books and views and comments given by industry experts specializing in foreign investment and trade between China and India.
We have also looked at investment trends and initiatives undertaken in other countries such as Dragon Mart in Dubai built by Chinese.
"I have also been fortunate to witness a few of these initiatives myself and take a deep pride for being involved in formulating this longer term perspective for Madhya Pradesh," she said.
"One prime objective of holding the event is to give a boost to SHG movement in the state," she added.
