Retd treasury officer dies by suicide

Indore: A 66-year-old retired treasury officer died by suicide at his home in Tejaji Nagar late on Thursday.
Tejaji Nagar police station in charge Abhishek Ranjan said, Arvind Sharma, resident of Shrikrishna Avenue in Limbodi, was found hanging from the ceiling fan inside his home by his wife on Friday morning. She rushed to another room and alerted their daughter Pratishtha.They called neighbours and informed the police.
Arvind was also posted in income tax department in various districts. He was a resident of Shivpuri and had shifted with the family to Indore during his work. Family members told police that Arvind was in depression for the past few months. Police said that no suicide note was recovered from the spot. tnn
