Refused free food, 3 throw boiling oil at kiosk owner

Indore: Three persons were arrested after they threw a wok containing boiling oil at a kiosk owner when he refused to give them free food at Meghdoot garden.Vijay Nagar police station in-charge Ravindra Gurjar said that the victim, Mukesh, operates a food kiosk at Meghdoot Garden chowpatty. On Tuesday night, three persons ---Rishabh Joshi, Naman Thakur and Rahul Barik--- reached there and demanded Chinese food free of cost. When Mukesh refused, the trio thrashed him brutally and abused him. One of them then threw a wok containing boiling oil at Mukesh due to which he was severely burnt. He was rushed to a hospital by locals. Gurjar said that the three were habitual offenders and have several cases registered against them. A case of attempted murder was registered against the three and they were arrested, he said. tnn
