Depalpur hostel girls allege ragging, stage protest

The junior students assembled at Depalpur police station alleging that their seniors had been harassing them by making them clean their rooms and common bathrooms.
“We even have to wait for long to use the washroom every morning. The seniors first use the washrooms and then we are allowed to use it. They make us clean the washrooms and their rooms,” said a girl on condition of anonymity.
They said that they had informed the hostel in charge Pratibha Pandey about the matter several times, but she was indifferent to their problems.

Police, however, said all the angles were being probed in the matter.
