Saif Ali Khan Health Update
The industrial area which houses around 400 small and medium scale industries spread in six sectors (A to F) are facing regular tripping. The main concern is that the level of newly-constructed Sanwer road is raised thus trucks traversing through the industrial area are touching the electricity cables causing power cuts.
Apart from this, industrialists have claimed that in the name of maintenance every day for almost 3-4 hours electricity gets conked off. "Power is the basic necessity of any industrial area but the rainy season has worsened the condition of electricity here. We are facing regular power-cuts and because of this huge loss are being incurred by firms," said O P Dhoot president of Association of Industries Madhya Pradesh (AIMP).
Two feeders of 33/11KV and 132 KV have been installed in the industrial area and in the past one week services of the industries have been affected badly. Dhoot further added that the trucks that are moving across the industrial area touch the low-lying power-cables which cause tripping.
Largely in Sector-C and Sector-A of the industrial area electricity supply goes for a toss for almost 5-7 times in a week. Industrialists has claimed that though the government is preparing for Global Investors Summit this year, situation of units operational on ground is getting worse every day.
"Power-loss affects the production and delivery cost for the firm. When you have to place your order sudden power-cut impacts even the image of the unit in market as well," said AIMP secretary Yogesh Mehta.
