INDORE: Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College (MGM), on Friday, terminated 24 students, who had taken admission in the college in 2009, 2010 and 2012 through fraudulent means.
Directorate of Medical Education (DME) had issued a fresh list of 85 candidates, who used unfair means to clear PMT in 2009, of which 10 students were in MGM. All 10 candidates are currently in final year MBBS.
Apart from these, 13 students, who had taken admission in 2010, were terminated and one student of 2012 batch, was terminated on Friday by the college administration.
Dean Dr Pushpa Verma, said, "We have terminated 24 students. All had taken admission through fraudulent means."
The college administration has already terminated eight students from 2011 batch. Students, who were terminated from 2009 batch, include Vijay Kharadi, Papita Bhuria, Vaishali Baria, Shalini Badole, Shobharam Godave, Priya Bharke, Dashrath Bhawar, Vikrant Mandloi, Saundarya Bodh and Yogendra Kumar.
The students from 2010 batch, include Abhishek Mangare, Akshay Shandilya, Balram Kaner, Kirtish Nandanialawa, Namrata Damore and Neha Verma,
