INDORE: Kins of the senior BJP leader and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Sunderlal Patwa are fighting it out again. The dispute between Patwa’s brother Sampatlal Patwa and his elder son Basant has reached the police.
Two different cases have been registered on the complaint of Basant against his father and younger brother Anant. The police have been searching Sampatlal and Anant for last 15 days and several places in Neemuch district have been raided.

Sampatlal is the fourth among the five Patwa brothers. Sampatlal has two wives—and has three children --- Basant, Narendra and Anant from his first wife and one – Bhushan from the second wife. Sampatlal lives with Anant while others stay separately.
The family has been involved in a property dispute. On November 7, Basant, lodged an FIR at Baghana police station in Neemuch alleging that his father Sampatlal and younger brother Anant broke open the godown and stole away 2100 bags full of urea costing Rs 17 lakh. This was the first FIR, and thereafter the dispute was out in open.
Basant alleged that there has been a dispute over the ownership of Juna Jin Godown from where the alleged urea was stolen. The police have registered a case under section 454, 380 of IPC. Thereafter, the cops have been looking for the father and son.
According to in-charge CSP Sameer Yadav, arrest of father and son is necessary following the FIR of theft. “We are searching them at their residences and offices but they are missing”, he said. “Even their cell phones were switched off,” he said.

Basant is learnt to have lodged a second FIR at Cantonment Police station Neemuch against Sampatlal and Anant. According to SHO A A Udawat, Basant had complained on November 7 that his father and younger brother have stolen a cheque book, stock register, cash book and other account details from Patwa Agro Private Limited on Veerpark road.
According to SHO, after investigation a case of loot has been registered against the father, son on November 20.
