INDORE: Three youths, denied fuel for not wearing helmets, threw a lit match near a fuel tank at a petrol pump in Indore on Friday. The incident took place at Shukla Brothers petrol pump in Chhota Bangarda and was captured on CCTV footage that surfaced on Saturday. According to the complaint filed by pump employee Virendra Dhaulpuria, three young men arrived on a bike without helmets and were refused petrol.
An argument ensued, escalating quickly as two of the youths got off the bike. One of them pulled out a knife and threatened the staff, while the other lit a matchstick.They allegedly said, "We will get petrol without a helmet now; let's see who stops us." Some local residents managed to catch the accused and thrashed them before handing them over to police. Additional DCP Rajesh Dandotiya said that a case was registered .
