Students of a college in the city are chalking out a hybrid model of a vehicle with ambition that it will run without fuel cost almost. They also claim that it will cost around Rs 30,000.

INDORE: Students of a college in the city are chalking out a hybrid model of a vehicle with ambition that it will run without fuel cost almost. They also claim that it will cost around Rs 30,000.
Girls of the prestigious Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science (SGSITS) College have begun the project to come with such vehicle.
Talking to media, a student of mechanical engineering claimed that this hybrid vehicle could be run, either ways by using battery run motor, or manually.

She is the one of member of 11 girls who has designed the vehicle.
Another girl said that the USP of the vehicle would its fuel efficiency and low cost production.
The students claim that the comfort in the vehicle is also a main concern for the team working over it. They said that it is generally seen that old age people find it uncomfortable to drive vehicles due to the seating arrangements but here we have used recumbent design which makes sitting comfortable.
According to them, the vehicle runs at a speed of around 25 kilometers per hour and its speed could be increased further with slight changes in the model.
