INDORE: A daughter-in-law of Madhya Pradesh school education minister Inder Singh Parmar allegedly hanged herself at home in Shajapur, police said on Tuesday.
Shajapur SP Pankaj Shrivastava told TOI, “Savita Parmar, 23, wife of Devraj Parmar, and daughter-in-law of cabinet minister Inder Singh Parmar ji, was found hanging at her residence at Ponchaner village in Shajapur on Tuesday evening.”
Savita was alone in the house when she took the extreme step, he said, adding that her mother-in-law had gone to the farmland in the afternoon and found her daughter-in-law hanging when she returned.
Devraj Parmar was in Shujalpur (around 70km away) when the suicide came to light, Shrivastava said.
