Women Cricket team is all set for the upcoming T-20 Central Zone League scheduled from February 22 to 26 at Kanpur. Kanpur.
According to team coach Anita Atre Ranjana Gupta will be leading the team, while Shweta Mishra has been chosen as the vice captain. Besides, upcoming juniors Pooja Choudhary, Neha Badwik, Charu Joshi appear promising and have potential to go far in future, she said.
MP will be playing against Uttar Pradesh, Vidarbha, Rajasthan and Railway. Amongst five teams of Central Zone two teams will be qualified for the knockout round.
"We are focusing on the fitness of the girls and stamina building," said Anita. The team will leave on February 19 for Kanpur. Anita feels that Railways is supposed to be their strongest competitor and match against them will be important for them.
