Miracle rescue of BJP MLA's son from flooded river in Choral

INDORE: BJP MLA Ranjana Baghel's son had a miraculous escape after he and two friends were swept off a bridge into an overflowing rivulet on Choral river in Simrol area of Indore district late Friday night.

"Yashwardhan Singh was found hanging from a tree," ASP-rural Rupesh Dwivedi said. "Three youths were crossing the bridge when their vehicle was washed away. Some villagers and policemen managed to rescue one of the youths, Tejas, but the others were missing. After a few hours, villagers found Baghel's son fighting to stay afloat holding the branch of a tree," said Dwivedi. The third person is still missing.
