Man assaulted after refusing to drive vehicle; driver attacked after minor accident

Indore: A 22-year-old man was allegedly assaulted after refusing to drive another person's vehicle in Aerodrome area. The man suffered an eye injury in the case. Based on the complaint of the man, Vishal Tripathi, a resident of Govind Colony, Aerodrome police registered a case against Gulshan Pathak of Gauri Nagar.
In his complaint, Tripathi mentioned that the dispute began when Pathak questioned him for refusing to drive his vehicle. Pathak started abusing him and assaulted him during the scuffle, causing an injury to his eye. Bystanders intervened and rushed Tripathi to a nearby hospital.In another incident, a car driver was attacked after a minor collision triggered a heated argument in Lasudia area. Police said the incident took place in Scheme No. 78. Complainant Deepak Soni of Brahmpuri Colony told police that while he was driving an Ola car, it brushed against a pedestrian on the road. The man allegedly began abusing him and when he objected, the pedestrian's associate joined in and both assaulted him.During the altercation, one of the accused allegedly pulled out a sharp object and attacked Soni, leaving him bleeding. The attackers also threatened to kill him before fleeing the spot. Police registered a case and started an investigation into the incident.
