Man arrested with MD drugs worth over Rs 1 lakh

Indore: A 22-year-old man was arrested with MD drugs worth more than Rs 1.2 lakh during a crackdown by Khajrana police in Indore. The accused, identified as Shahrukh alias Bona, was caught with more than 12 gram of the synthetic drug. Police said the accused was involved in selling the substance to fund his addiction and earn quick money.During patrolling and surveillance in the Khajrana area, a team led by Khajrana police station in-charge Manoj Sendhav spotted a suspicious man sitting near Sai Kripa main road. On seeing the police, he allegedly tried to flee but was surrounded and detained by the team. During a search, the team recovered more than 12 gram MD drugs from his possession.A case was registered against Shahrukh at Khajrana police station under the NDPS Act.
