Madhya Pradesh: Activities at Mangal Bhawan banned

BARWANI: District collector has banned all activities at Mangal Bhawan, run by Shri Ram Mandir Devasthan Trust, Sendhwa and has also prohibited all expenditure and bank account transactions by the Trust for earning money illegally by changing use and purpose of the building.

Collector Shivraj Singh Verma passed the interim ban order on the basis of report of Sendhwa SDO (Revenue) Tapasya Parihar who has now been appointed as the authority to carry our urgent works of the Trust.

The collector said that a probe by Sendhwa CMO Kamlesh Patidar found that the land was approved for the Trust in 1984 for eye care centre and maternity home. But after changing the purpose, money was being earned by organizing marriages and religious functions and other activities in the building.
