Law graduate dies by suicide

Indore: A law graduate from Indore allegedly died by suicide in the forested area near Tincha Falls on Saturday.
Body of the law graduate, Suraj Pawar, a resident of Manawar in Dhar district, was found by the villagers, who informed police and the body was sent for postmortem examination to the district hospital.
Pawar had completed his law studies at a university in Tejaji Nagar of Indore and was practising while residing in rented accommodation in Indore. His body was discovered near his parked bike, indicating that he travelled to the location alone.
Police said Suraj had left his room on Friday evening without informing anyone. Earlier that day, he was out with his room-mate. His family mentioned that he was staying in Indore for the past six years for his studies. Friends of the deceased noted that he was chatting with a girl on his phone shortly before the incident. His last Instagram story contained a message directed at a girl, congratulating her on her wedding and wishing her happiness. This raised suspicions that he was emotionally distressed.
The police suspect that a love affair may have been a factor in his decision. They are conducting a thorough investigation into the circumstances leading to his suicide, including analysing his mobile data for further clues. His body was handed over to the family members after the postmortem examination.
Suraj lost his father during the Covid-19 pandemic. His younger brother and mother manage their family's farming business.
