Not following the orders will face action and penalty. Additional district magistrate Alok Kumar Singh issued an order in this regard according to which it will be mandatory that no landlord provide accommodation without furnishing details to the nearest police station.
“Before giving shelter to any stranger be it job or maids, necessary information should be provided to nearest police station. It is only after verification, hostel, hotel and lodge and landlords should give space to the people. Hotel and lodge owners should provide authentic information of guests on daily basis,” said the orders of Singh.
The move seems to be in wake of Independence Day, which will fall next month. The city is already known as crime capital so administration is not chance to unscrupulous elements to breach security. Those not complying the orders will face action under IPC section 188.
