Two held with drugs

Indore: Indore crime branch on Monday arrested two persons in separate cases and seized 30 gram banned MD drugs and around 6 kg ganja from their possession.Crime branch additional DCP Rajesh Dandotiya said that a man identified as Irfan Khan was arrested with 30 gram of MD drugs."Acting on a tip-off, the crime branch team conducted a surveillance operation in Sadar Bazaar area and caught Khan from near Gutkeshwar Mahadev Temple. Upon searching him, the team recovered 30 gram of MD drugs," he said.In another case, one Arvind alias Bhaiyya Badnaware with 6.214 kg of ganja. "The crime branch team was conducting a search operation near District Trade and Industry Center in front of Polo Ground when they spotted a suspicious person on a motorcycle, and a search of his belongings led to the recovery of 6.214 kg of ganja," he said.Accused in both the cases were booked under NDPS Act.
